Dr. Mark Snyder Brings Advanced Skills to Cumming

mark-snyderAtlanta, GA (October 11, 2007) – CEO, Dr. David Helfman, announced today the addition of Mark Snyder, DPM to the Village Podiatry Group medical staff.

Dr. Mark Snyder joins Village Podiatry Group as the lead physician for the Cumming office located on the campus of Northside Hospital-Forsyth. He received his B.S. in Biology from Georgia Southern University. Dr. Snyder obtained his Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine from Temple University in Philadelphia where he was elected President of the Sterling Hartford Anatomical Society. He completed a three year medical/surgical residency at The Crozer Keystone Health System in Philadelphia. Dr. Snyder furthered his training at the Rubin Institute for Advanced Orthopedics at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland where he was trained in techniques of external fixation for complex deformities along with Ponseti casting technique for club foot correction.

Dr. Snyder’s areas of expertise are reconstructive foot and ankle surgery and diabetic wound care/limb salvage. He is an associate member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and a member of the Georgia Podiatric Medical Association, American Podiatric Medical Association and Pennsylvania Podiatric Medical Association. Dr. Snyder, a native of Dunwoody, Georgia, lives with his wife and son in Cumming.
