What is Endovenous Laser Ablation (EVLA)?

The vein specialist uses a small catheter and it is gently inserted into the vein through a micro incision. A high energy source is emitted into the vein resulting in collapse and closure. The body then absorbs the treated tissue and blood flow is rerouted to healthy veins.
