Village Podiatry Centers Employees Step Out to Stop Diabetes
Atlanta, GA (November 13th, 2014) – On Saturday November 8th, over thirty employees from several Village Podiatry Centers locations joined together at Turner Field for the annual 2014 Step Out: Walk to Stop Diabetes event. Together, the VPC Power Steppers team raised over five hundred dollars for the American Diabetes Association. This event has been taking place for over twenty years and Village Podiatry Centers is proud to be a continued partner and sponsor. Our doctors see several diabetic patients every week and know first hand the severity of complications that can be associated with diabetic patients, especially in regards to the lower extremity. Although diabetic symptoms seem harmless, it is important that diabetic patients seek advice a from podiatric experts in order to properly treat minor conditions such as calluses, cuts or ingrown toenails that may result in further complications if left untreated. Thank you to all who came out to support. We enjoyed meeting all the walkers who came by our booth! For more photos of the event, please visit Village Podiatry Centers on Facebook.
