Dr. Brian Harley Joins Village Podiatry Centers in Smyrna and Duluth
September 4, 2009 – Village Podiatry Centers is pleased to announce that podiatric surgeon, Dr. Brian Harley, has joined the staff and will be seeing patients in the Smyrna and Duluth offices. Dr. Harley is board certified in forefoot surgery and reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery. He provides comprehensive foot, ankle and lower leg treatment for all ages. Before joining Village Podiatry Centers, Dr. Harley was in private practice for four years in Marietta.
Dr. Harley earned a B.S. in Biology and B.B.A. in Business Management at North Georgia College in Dahlonega. He received his doctorate in podiatric medicine at New York College of Podiatric Medicine in 2002. His surgical residency was completed at West Los Angeles Veterans Hospital Olive View/ UCLA Medical Center, Encino/Tarzana Medical Center and Kaiser Woodland Hills Hospital.
Dr. Harley served nine years in the Georgia Army National Guard as a combat medic and officer. He is currently Chief of Podiatry at Wellstar Windy Hill Hospital in Marietta. Dr. Harley is a published medical author and surgical instructor. As a podiatric surgeon, he provides treatment and surgery for lower extremity conditions including fractures, bunions, infections, tendon injuries and diabetic foot care. Dr. Harley’s special interests include sports medicine, trauma care, and bringing the latest technology and techniques into the practice of podiatric medicine and surgery.
