Village Podiatry Centers is affiliated with the only high-field Extremity MRI Center in Atlanta. Unlike whole-body imaging, Extremity MRI is more comfortable for the patient. Only the body part from the knee down or the elbow down that needs to be imaged is placed inside the magnet. Compared to a full-body MRI, the system offers multiple advantages:
