Dr. David Helfman, CEO
Dr. Helfman earned his doctorate at William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago. His surgical residency was completed at Vencor Hospital, Georgia Podiatric Surgical Residency Program in Atlanta. Dr. Helfman is board certified in forefoot surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and board certified in podiatric orthopedics by the American Board of Podiatric Orthopedics. As a foot and ankle surgeon, Dr. Helfman began practicing in 1992 in Smyrna, Georgia when he founded Village Podiatry. His professional appointments include serving as a staff surgeon for Emory Adventist Hospital in Smyrna and as editor of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery Preferred Practice Guidelines. Dr. Helfman is an active board member for Signature Bank and Trust in Sandy Springs.
Chris Arndt, CFO
Chris Arndt earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. His Masters in Business Administration in Finance was completed at Georgia State University's Robinson School of Business in Atlanta. Chris is a certified strategic planner as awarded by the American Management Association. He has more than 17 years of executive financial experience in Atlanta previously serving as chief financial officer of My Choice Medical and financial officer and assistant vice president of ChoicePoint, Inc's. Public Filings Group.
Dr. Mitchell Hilsen, Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Mitchell Hilsen is a graduate of the University of Georgia in Athens. His doctorate was earned at Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Independence. Dr. Hilsen completed a two-year surgical residency at St. Michael Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio where his training included comprehensive foot and ankle surgery, clinical and hospital patient care, and wound care. He furthered his training through an additional one-year Surgical Fellowship in Foot and Ankle Surgery in Marietta, GA. Dr. Hilsen has a special interest in sports medicine, being an avid tennis player and golfer. His knowledge encompasses the newest technology and procedures including radiofrequency therapy for plantar fasciitis. In 2011, Dr. Hilsen was appointed to serve as chief medical officer for Village Podiatry Centers and its holding company, Extremity Healthcare, Inc.
Robert Lindahl, Senior Vice President of Operations
Robert Lindahl is a healthcare professional with more than 25 years of operations and finance experience in physician practices, managed care and consulting. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Florida in Gainesville. His Masters in Business Administration in Finance and Accounting was completed at Vanderbilt University's Owen Graduate School of Management in Nashville. Robert's previous positions have included serving as Vice President of Physician Services for Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, Vice President/Senior Network Manager Medical Delivery for U.S. Healthcare, and Manager in Healthcare Consulting for Price Waterhouse. In Robert's most recent role before joining Extremity Healthcare, Inc, he held the position of Chief Operating Officer for six years at Southeastern Gynecological Oncology, LLC, one of the largest practices of its type in the U.S.
